This year, New Orleans celebrates its Tricentennial, which means parties in The Big Easy are going to be even better. And, we know, the gays will take any excuse for a party. Come celebrate the 19th Annual Official Gay Easter Parade on Easter Sunday
Taking place on Sunday, April 1st, starting at 4:30 p.m., the parade, which benefits Food For Friends, takes a slow stroll through the French Quarter passing gay bars and many gay-owned restaurants and shops along the way. There are carriages, convertibles, amazing costumes, vibrant parties, and celebrities! It’s also a fabulous showcase of the fashion and creativity of the entire LGBT community, with gentlemen in summer suits and tuxedos with hats, and the queer commuity in Easter suits, dresses, and hats—yes, outfits are definitely encouraged.
