This year Santa slays and his reindeer prance down the runway at Munich’s annual Pink Christmas. In its 13th year, the market is lined with decorated pagoda-tens and boasts queer centric holiday offerings that will light up your holiday. Held at the Stephansplatz this quaint festival takes a colorful spin on a holiday that already sparkles.

The Mother City Queer Project is Africa’s biggest and longest running costume party and this year the theme is Dungeons & Dragons! If you like your fantasy queer, pink unicorns, or ice dragons then this is the place for you. Get out your best Game of Thrones, Merlin, Lord of the Rings, Legend of Zelda, or any of your genre faves costumes and make a sojourn to Cape Town. In its 24th year the bacchanal will be held on Saturday December 16. Get your medieval on and cast a spell because this event is going to be magical.

Every winter the who’s-who of LGBT A-listers hit the slopes at Aspen Gay Ski Week. Hosted at the Limelight hotel it’s seven days of skiing, snowboarding, and parties where you could hobnob with some queer celebrities like Nico Tortorella, Mateo Lane, or one of the fabulous ladies from Rupaul’s Drag Race. While you’re taking a breather from all the star-studded fun eat at any of the delicious restaurants in the area like L’Hostaria, Element 47, or Mi Chola.
