Christian Group Says Donate to Make 1670’s Christian Allegory into a Movie, Don’t See ‘Beauty and the Beast’

Sometimes you can’t make this stuff up! The American Family Association is telling parents that they shouldn’t see Disney’s Beauty and the Beast over the (blink-and-you’ll-miss-it ‘gay’ scene), but instead they should donate their money to completing a CGI version of The Pilgrim’s Progress—a not-so-kid-friendly two-part 100k-word allegory about the persecution of Christians in the late 1600s. And not that we should knock this historic English-language masterpiece, but there is clearly no comparison between the two stories (plus, one is far from even being completed).

We at AFA applaud this CGI animation of John Bunyan’s timeless classic, The Pilgrim’s Progress. Based on the completed portions thus far, we believe your family will love the finished product! In the meantime, your support in the interim is needed and appreciated.
