CNN Rates the World’s Best and Worst Passports

Today, CNN came out with a new breakdown of the best and worst passports in the world. The passports are ranked depending on the amount of countries it allows direct access to without a visa. From the looks of it, German citizens have the best mobility based off of the 2016 Visa Restrictions Index and Afghanistan citizens have the least.

Top 10 (with the number of countries allowing visa-free travel):

  1. Germany (177)
  2. Sweden (176)
  3. Finland, France, Italy, Spain, UK (175)
  4. Belgium, Denmark, Netherlands, U.S. (174)
  5. Austria, Japan, Singapore (173)
