Darren Criss to Play Giani Versace’s Killer in New Season of Murphy’s ‘American Crime Story’

Ryan Murphy’s other other other other project, American Crime Story‘s third season won’t be out for a while, but casting news has been confirmed for this season’s Versace telling called Vulgar Favors: Andrew Cunanan, Gianni Versace, and the Largest Failed Manhunt in U.S. History. According to reports Glee-darling Darren Criss will play the gay mass-killer Andrew Cunanan who famously took the life of legendary fashion designer Gianni Versace. Criss famously played the gay love interest of Kirk on Glee and has also appeared in American Horror Story Hotel.

The second ten-episode season of American Crime Story: The Great Deluge: Hurricane Katrina, New Orleans, and the Mississippi Gulf Coast wont air until 2018, so we don’t know how long we’ll have to wait to see Criss. [HollywoodReporter]
