Three drag queens came to the rescue of a gay man being assaulted in Sydney. It sounds like the premise of a new Marvel show, but this real-life event has united and inspired this Australian gay community more than any fictional hero could.
People are praising the quick-acting trio that comprises Coco Jumbo, Ivy League, and Vybe who stepped in to protect a gay man from two rowdy thugs. “Oh honey, they were scared, they didn’t know what was going to hit them, and we didn’t know that we were going to hit them!” they told a morning news program.
The man called the trip his angels after they crowded around the two thugs and blocked the attack.
“If you want to fight, fight someone your own size!” Ivy League said.
