It’s the first app to locate and grant keyless access to modern, safe, hi-tech restrooms (hands-free anyone?) around the city – all through your smartphone. Not a patron? Not a problem. Based in San Francisco, Good2Go is transforming the way people navigate a city to find a restroom. Tourists, parents with young children, and the on-demand work force often face the challenge of not knowing where they can access a restroom. In fact, many have written about the problem for tourists and locals alike. In particular, for on-demand drivers and delivery services it’s a real problem.Going far beyond a “directory” of restrooms like some mobile apps for public restrooms, this new company not only enables the discovery of state-of-the-art restrooms nearby, it partners with cafes, coffee shops, and other retailers to renovate and convert their restrooms to a smart system that grants keyless, hands-free access all through your phone, something both consumers and retailers much prefer. Finally, consumers now have access to restrooms they actually want to use. Five locations are already live in San Francisco with five more expected in the coming weeks. New York will follow San Francisco.
