“Half-drag, A Different Kind of Beauty” is a jaw-dropping set of images by photographer Leland Bobbé that explores gender and identity. Bobbé took portraits of 15 drag queens from New York, each with half their faces done in their normal drag personae. He says that he wanted to explore the cross over between males and females and to break down the physical barriers that separate them.” Probably the most striking aspect of the photos is that he used no digital enhancements and each subject did his own make-up.
