The time has arrived to get your gay art on and where better to do so than good ol’ London Town? GFEST Gaywise FESTival begins Monday, November 8. This annual cross-arts festival is all about creating a creativity-fueled environment for the LGBTQI community, and this year it couldn’t have a better selection of movies, art galleries, music, and more to choose from.
Working your way from venue to venue, you’re guaranteed the opportunity to view the city from a different angle and check out the great cityscape that is London. With a visual art exhibition at the Menier Gallery, an exclusive LGBT tour of the fabulous Tate Modern Museum, and screenings of wonderful gay-and lesbian-interest film premiers, like the short film Trannysformation at ArtHouse Crouch End, there is something for everyone at GFEST.
Fear not non-visual-art love, for there is also a more vocal side to this festival. Musical performances by gay composers at St. Pancras Parish Church and panel discussions on Asian LGBTQI identities and the influence on sexually/homosexuality on the creation of music will put at ease your more “collegiate” partner.

GFEST will starts on Monday, November 9th and runs until the 21st. The visual art exhibition will run until the 14th but allow yourself time on the evening of Tuesday, November 10th for a special private viewing of the exhibition.
This is shaping up to be a knockout arts gathering, be sure not to miss it and get your tickets here!
