The acting legend Glenn Close recently made her West End debut in Sunset Boulevard produced by the English National Opera this past Saturday. As the Fatal Attraction star humbly slipped out the stage door once her performance was over she was greeted by more than 90 members of the London Gay Men’s Chorus. Some of the men were adorned with fabulous turbans imitating the icon Norma Desmond.
Close looked positively touched by this homage.
Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber’s revival of Sunset Boulevard with Close preforming as Norma Desmond is currently running in the West End now through May 7th.
Celebrating their 25th birthday, the London Gay Men’s Chorus is putting on two shows at Cadogan Hall on June 10-11. You can book tickets here!
