MTV Puts Faces to Transgender Soldiers During VMAs

MTV took time out of the red-carpet pageantry to deliver a very special message to Donald Trump. Transgender service members, Airman Sterling James Crutcher, Air Force Staff Sgt. Logan Ireland, Army Capt. Jennifer Peace, Navy corpsman Akira Wyatt, and veterans Laila Ireland and Brynn Tannehill all were asked to attend last night’s ceremony in protest of the president’s out-of-the-blue decision to ban transgender men and women from serving in any capacity in the military.
