Paris is hoping to please naturists looking to catch a breeze with a specially designated clothing-optional park. From October 15, a section of the Bois de Vincennes will allow people to enjoy the football-pitch-sized area sans clothing. It’s a space where anything will be tolerated, though, exhibitionists and voyeurs should stay home, as the charter demands that park-goers exercise “good behavior.”
France is famous for its expanse of nude beaches and many clothing-optional retreats, so it’s only natural that the country’s capital gets in on some of the action.
“It’s a true joy, it’s one more freedom for naturists,” Julien Claude-Penegry of the Paris Naturists Association told AFP news agency. “It shows the city’s broad-mindedness and will help change people’s attitudes toward nudity, toward our values and our respect for nature,” he said.
