Orlando Mayor Declares June 12th, ‘Orlando United Day — A Day of Love and Kindness’

The City of Orlando and Orange County Government is designating June 12, Orlando United Day — A Day of Love and Kindness.” To coincide with the one-year anniversary of the attack that killed 49 members of the LGBT community at Pulse Nightclub. The day hopes to once again unite the Central Florida community in a show of love and kindness. A number of community events are planned, including a flag unveiling, candle light vigil, and a gallery of items collected from Pulse memorial sites.
