It’s been over a year since Prince passed away, and Prince’s legacy continues to live on through his music, and luckily his fans in London can relive his glory days through guitars, outrageous outfits, and shoes. A London exhibit called “My Name is Prince” will hit the 02 Dome, and the items will be pulled from 128 guitars, 8,000 pieces of clothing, and 2,000 pairs of shoes from his former home in Minnesota.
His sister Tyka Nelson called the exhibit a “miniature Paisley Park,” which is in reference to his home that has become a pilgrimage for fans of the late singer.
“He wanted a museum and for it to be out there,” she said. “People say ‘is it too soon?’ and I’m like, ‘No, it’s not soon enough. He kept all of this stuff all of these years, every itty bitty piece of this stuff for them, for us — for you guys to come out and see it.”
The show opens today will run until January 7. [ABC]
