Here’s something we never though we’d see: RuPaul’s Drag Race former contestant and friend of Passport‘s Shangela and Alyssa Edwards hopped on a plane to Amman, Jordan. The two arrived at a US military base, used for the deployment of troops to bases across the Middle East.

Shangela, most famous for her repeated appearances on the drag queen reality show wrote in her iconic tone:
Halleloo pool view in Amman!!! Taking a moment today to relax before private show tonight. Sending love to all our fans here. We had no idea we have so many Drag Race lovers in Amman!?! Sending u lots and lots of LOVE. Due to our tight schedule (and of course in respect to the observance of Ramadan) we won't be able to do a public meet-up, however please know that we LOVE you and hope to come back again. Stay Fabulous!! ❤️
The show has increased in popularity across the Middle East thanks to Netflix who made the show available in places like Saudi Arabia.
The girls are expected to entertain the troops in the coming days.
