Wells Fargo Celebrates Pride with Video Series Celebrating 30 Years of Support

Wells Fargo has joined the growing list of companies that have released ads specifically for the LGBT community during Pride month 2017, but the big bank is putting its money where its mouth is by highlighting organizations and donating, while also showing off its three decades worth of commitment to the community!

Wells Fargo is unique in that it has been supporting the LGBT community for over 30 years through sponsorships, advertising, and even hiring an LGBT segment manager to further understand the community.

Their new “Standing Together” campaign wants to celebrate this three-decade milestone: “Strategically we wanted to move beyond just a celebratory rainbow campaign. We wanted to go deeper and tell some real, authentic stories about some of the most vulnerable members of the community and really bring some awareness to the organizations that are addressing those needs,” John Lake, LGBT segment lead at Wells Fargo, said.

For the campaign, the company released four short films together with four organizations: Point Foundation, The Trevor Project, SAGE, and GLSEN.
