The wife of Pulse Nightclub mass-shooter, who claimed to have nothing to with the murder of 49 people, has been arrested in San Francisco. Gunman Omar Mateen’s wife, Noor Salman, was charged with obstruction of justice and aiding and abetting her husband who opened fire at LGBT Pulse Nightclub on June 12. She is expected to appear in court on Tuesday, and she’ll be extradited to Florida where is indicted.
“Noor Salman had no foreknowledge nor could she predict what Omar Mateen intended to do that tragic night. Noor has told her story of abuse at his hands. We believe it is misguided and wrong to prosecute her and that it dishonors the memories of the victims to punish an innocent person,” her lawyer told ABC News.
