4 Organizations to Help Hurricane Relief in Florida

In the wake of Hurricane Michael, hundreds of thousands of homes in Florida and Georgia have been torn apart, leaving residents without food, clean water, shelter, and other basic needs. To help with relief efforts for those impacted, consider donating to the following charities and organizations working to provide shelter and supplies and rebuild specifically in the aftermath of this storm.

Global Giving has started a Hurricane Michael relief fund with a goal of two million dollars to provide immediate relief and eventually work toward sustainable more long-term efforts.

National Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster (NVOAD) is a coalition of organizations that provide relief to those affected by natural disasters.

Save the Children is devoting their time and resources to hurricane relief efforts for vulnerable children at higher risk in the Panhandle region.

The Florida Disaster Fund allocates and distributes funds to organizations that provide immediate relief and supplies to those affected by natural disasters in Florida.
