With the success of both Chippendales and Thunder From Down Under, Channing Tatum is hoping to capitalize on the hoards of thirsty bachelorette parties and gay men visiting Las Vegas by bringing to life the bumping and grinding of the Magic Mike movies. The stripper franchise, which is based off Tatum’s real life, will get the live-show treatment beginning March 2017 at Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, according to the actor/former stripper.
“It shouldn’t be sleazy. [You shouldn’t feel] nervous to go there because you feel unsafe; we want to create the polar opposite of that,” Tatum said. The Alabama-born 36-year-old will direct the show and use some of the fans’ favorite choreography.
The audience may even get a glimpse of the star himself. He said: “If I’m ever in shape enough to do that again, I’ll absolutely go out and have a fun night or two.”
The show has already launched a website, where you can sign up for updates.
