Ariana Grande is set to return to Manchester, England where she will headline the annual pride celebration in August.
The singer, who holds the number one and number two singles in the UK, will perform at an outdoor venue that can hold up to 9,000 people. The concert will be free to the public.
“We’re truly honored to be welcoming Ariana back to the city to help us celebrate LGBT+ life,” Manchester Pride organizer Mark Fletcher said.
The “Thank You Next” singer hasn’t returned to Manchester since 2017 when she performed a special benefit show in honor of the 22 people who were killed in a suicide attack that took place at her sold-out show at Manchester Arena. “Every day I wait for that peace to come and it’s still very painful,” she said after the attack.
Additionally, the band Years & Years will perform along with Bananarama and Pixe Lott.
Manchester Pride takes place August 23-26, 2019.
