On display until mid-summer, the Charline von Heyl exhibit at the Institute of Contemporary Art in Boston, Massachusetts is an enigmatic, insistent, and vibrant exhibition that will have art lovers everywhere talking. In addition to dozens of her larger paintings, the exhibition will present von Heyl’s collage of work on paper. This includes a combination of woodcut and lithography that contains “a wild overflow of energy.” Running through July 15, look at Heyl’s melodramatic abstraction and let loose and get lost in her world.
