
Canada’s new super-cool and super-cute prime minister, Justin Trudeau, has been a longtime ally to the LGBT community, and now he’s showing his support further by marching in Toronto’s Pride on July 3. This will make him the first sitting prime minister to march in an LGBT pride parade.
The month-long celebration has a theme of belonging and inclusion, and organizers are practicing what their preaching. Syrian refugees, Black Lives Matter, and a host of other political and social-issue groups will have space to share their messages.
