‘Carol’ Sweeps Board at the Gay and Lesbian Entertainment Critics Association Awards

People everywhere are sounding off over the Academy Award nominations for its lack of diversity, including the gay and lesbian community who fell snubbed by the lack of nominations for critically acclaimed Carol. But, the Gay and Lesbian Entertainment Critics Association has released their list of annual winners. Carol took home Film of the Year, Director of the Year, Film Actress of the Year, Screenplay, and LGBTQ Film of the year.

In TV wins, Transparent took home LGBTQ Show of the Year, TV Comedy of the Year, and TV Actor of the Year.
