To show solidarity with Bruce Jenner, people around the world are painting their nails. Bruce Jenner, who came out as transgender in a recent interview with Diane Sawyer, has faced some tough critics. Paparazzi and rags have consistently poked fun of the Olympic Gold Medalist’s changes—particularly his painted nails. In the interview, Jenner told Sawyer that one of his goals after coming out is “to be able to have my nail polish on long enough that it actually chips off.” This statement prompted an Australian radio station, KIIS 106.5, to begin a campaign called #PaintYourNailsForBruce. They even went as far as setting up a mobile nail salon outside the Central Railway Station in Sydney.
