Chick-Fil-A, the popular fast food chain, reportedly gave almost $2 million to anti-LGBT rights groups in the year 2009, Equality Matters reports. This is the second revelation of the company’s hate group support, with Equality Matters reporting back in March that the chain also gave more than $1.1 million between 2003 and 2008.

A breakdown of which organizations received money from Chick-Fil-A in 2009 is as follows:

Marriage and Family Legacy Fund $994,199
Fellowship of Christian Athletes $480,000
National Christian Foundation $240,000
Focus on the Family $12,500
Eagle Forum $5,000
Exodus International $1,000
Family Research Council $1,000

Equality Matters offers an explanation of exactly what these groups promote and practice here. It’s not pretty.
