It won’t be too hard to add a little fun to your weekend if your blasting American, indie-pop band, FUN. from your playlist. The band (nominated for four Grammys), is composed of Nate Reuss (formerly from The Format), Andrew Dost (formerly of Anathallo), and Jack Antonoff (formerly of Steel Train). Their most famous song to date, “We are Young,” was made even more popular when the kids of Glee did a rendition at the end of Sectionals in the episode “Hold on to Sixteen.” The Glee version hit number one on iTunes that same evening. But enough about those kids at McKinley High, FUN.’s version is much better, and it includes the multi-talented singer Janelle Monáe (who we featured back in 2009).
If you like what you hear after the jump… be sure to catch these guys on tour this winter, and pick up their album titled “Some Nights.”
