Sydney’s Tigertown is on the road with none other than Jean-Philip Grobler, better known by his stage name St. Lucia, in support of their new EP, Lonely Cities, which dropped on February 5.
After becoming a quick favorite on Triple J in their native Australia, the indie-pop outfit became breakouts in their own right at SXSW 2015, in Austin, TX.
The close-knit band is made up of husband-wife duo Chris (guitar) and Charlie Collins (vocals), plus the latter’s brother Alexi (keys) and sister Elodie (bass).
Signed to Neon Gold, the label behind Charli XCX and Marina and the Diamonds, the band’s new single “Lonely Cities” is a breezy, synth-driven pop track that’ll get you in an Aussie state of mind.
