You may remember Natalie Maines from the always-on-the-radio, country trio The Dixie Chicks. You may remember her more for being the liberal hero or face of evil liberalism (depending on what side you were on) when she bashed then-president George W. Bush. After being turned on by the country-music scene, Maines is unapologetic about her stance against the Iraq War and being a liberal and has since embraced her left-wing stances and launched her own solo career. Maines’ album, Mother, has ditched her country tone and has embraced a Rock-N’-Roll sound and even covers Pink Floyd.
