David LaChapelle’s New Diesel Ad Captures a Stunning Gay Kiss

Diesel clothing brand has released a fantastic and whimsical Summer 2017 campaign video that takes viewers into the fanciful world of David LaChapelle and shows couples of all walks of life embracing. The video, titled Make Love Not Walls, is a direct hit at the divisiveness Donald Trump’s presidency has stirred in the country (and sadly around the world).

“Diesel takes on the Wall, a symbol of separation by definition, breaking it down to create strong storytelling throughout the imagery developed around it: walls are built and the Diesel love tank breaks it with a heart shape turning a symbol of separation into a happy place full of flowers of celebration of freedom and love,” said Artistic Director Nicola Formichetti.

Diesel famously featured a gay couple in its ad campaign in 1995.
