Disney Channel Premiers First Gay Family

For the first time in Disney Channel’s history, the network geared toward younger viewers will feature a storyline revolving around a two-mother household. The show, Good Luck Charlie, is Disney Channel’s first to try to capture both the adult audience as well as their traditional demographic. The the episode aired on Sunday, Jan. 26 and featured a storyline in which the two parents Amy and Bob Duncan set up a play-date with one of their daughter’s friends from school who happens to have two mothers.
