Eddie Redmayne, the Academy Award nominee for his role as a pioneering transwoman in The Danish Girl, recently went to LA’s LGBT Center to show support for the center and their role within the community. When visiting the LA LGBT Center, Redmayne expressed shock after learning that 40% homeless youths in LA are LGBT or questioning. Feeling a need to help in any way he could, Redmayne offered to record their PSA.
