Ellen DeGeneres has been a mainstay of daytime TV since 2003, and now the dance-with-me star is dipping her feet in the world of sitcoms…again! This time around, DeGeneres will not be the star of the show like she was in the short-lived The Ellen Show, but will be one of two executive producers including Jeff Kleemann. The multi-cam show, which has been picked up by NBC, is being called “One Big Happy” and is being penned by Liz Feldman. According to Variety, the show will focus on gay and straight best friends who decide to have a baby together. But a love interest threatens to destroy their plans.
Hopefully this One Big Happy has a happier ending than similar sitcoms Sean Saves the World and The New Normal.
