In honor of Freddie Mercury, Heathrow Airport celebrated the Queen singers history at the airport with impromptu performances, lounge giveaways, and a whole lot of nostalgia. Mercury, unbeknownst to many worked at the airport before he hit it big time. And to honor this, and the upcoming release of his biopic, the airport choreographed an impressive dance with its staff members donning the iconic mustache.
Additionally, if your name was Freddie, Frederick, or the singer’s birthday name Farrokh, you were treated to British Airways’ first-class lounge. Memorabilia was also placed around the airport in honor of his legacy.
