As part of their new “Be Bright” campaign, American retail chain Gap has unveiled a new same-sex couple outdoor ad in Los Angeles. It cutely depicts two handsome men both in one simple heather gray tee with their bodies turn to each other, embracing, and looking toward the viewer with the “Be One” written next to them. Photo of the ad was tweeted by Chris Votaw (@votaw) to Towleroad last night, and no doubt will be going viral soon. It is great that retailers are acknowledging their LGBT customers with these unique advertisements. However, right wing organizations such as One Million Moms continues to attacked retailers who are creating these ads, such as JC Penney for using Ellen Degeneres and most recently their lesbian couple ad, and also Urban Outfitter’s catalog ad of two girls lightly kissing.
