Eye Prefer Paris is a blog written by ex-pat Richard Nahem who you might remember from our April 2011 Business Profile. Nahem has made a life in Paris as a full-time writer, tour guide, blogger, and, of course, a resident Parisian. This month he tells us all about what’s hot and new in the City of Lights including Marc Jacobs & Louis Vuitton, Matisse, Berenice Abbott, Salon du Vintage, and concerts at Musee Jacquemart-Andre. Nahem writes: “Marc Jacobs has helped transform the luxury luggage maker Louis Vuitton into one of the top fashion brands in the world. This new show commemorates how the two convened to make Vuitton the powerhouse it is today.” This high-style event is set to begin March 19 and ends on September 16 at the Musee de Decoratifs. If this exhibit is anything like the fashion exhibits seen in New York and in Montreal, it’s going to be one for the history books.
