California Governor Jerry Brown has just signed the most inclusive ‘bathroom bill’ in the United States that will require all single-stall toilets in the state to be designated as gender neutral. The bill, AB1732, stands in stark contrast to anti-transgender bathroom policies that have sprung up across the nation. According to Assemblyman Phil Ting of San Francisco the bill is the most inclusive access law in all 50 states, and will ensure that businesses and governments post signs labeling the single-access gender-neutral bathroom.
