HBO has agreed to develop a new comedy based on the real life of writer Ben Corey Jones (Hand of God). The show will focus on Jones’ life as a gay black man and his relationship with his two non-gay brother. Anthony Hemmingway (Red Tails) and Mark Taylor will serve as executive producers while Jones and Lena Waithe (Dear White People) will co-executive produce.
