Today, the first ever (RED)RUSH launches—a campaign to bring the number of babies born with HIV down from 1,000 a day to zero in just three years. From today through June 10, (RED)RUSH TO ZERO has come up with various ways for you to get involved. We’ve posted a few was below:
1. Buy a (RED) product and your choice will trigger the (RED) partner brand to contribute part of the proceeds from the sale to help fight AIDS. So when you’re shopping for an iPod nano at Apple why not choose the (RED) one, or the (RED) headphones from Beats by Dr. Dre – it costs you exactly the same as the non-(RED) version.
2. Play in The (RED)RUSH Games. It’s the biggest video game tournament around – so pick up your Xbox or PlayStation and play to win prizes and prestige all while fighting for an AIDS FREE GENERATION.
3. Check-in and Save Lives. From June 1st – 10th, every check-in at Starbucks in the US and Canada and select retailers of Penfolds and Bugaboo will trigger a donation to the Global Fund to fight AIDS. You’ll also unlock the limited edition (RED)RUSH badge – just make sure you follow (RED) on foursquare.
4. Bid on a (RED)ROWS concert ticket. Coldplay, The Killers, Tim McGraw, and The Black Keys are all offering special (RED) tickets for sale to their shows with proceeds to the fight.
