H&M’s New Ad Redefines What It Means To Be A Lady

A woman strides into a conference room—all eyes on her. The scene turns to women proudly baring their shaved heads, muscular arms, and hairy armpits. All this and more are captured in H&M’s new advert, which also includes transgender actress Hari Nef, 72-year-old model Lauren Hutton, and businesswoman Pum Lefebure. In just over a minute, the video throws out traditional notions of femininity and heteronormativity, and invites the audience to consider what being #Ladylike means to them.
