It’s hard to effectively stress the importance of Suicide Prevention Week (September 4-10) especially after this past year where we lost so many young gay and lesbian youths. Kevin McHale, the adorable wheelchair-bound student with the mature and soulful voice on Fox’s Glee, is speaking out to kids who may be facing tough times. The 23-year-old has joined forces with Trevor Project for a new campaign called “Talk to Me.”

“Talk to Me is what you say to someone to let them know you’re there. Talk to me. Just three simple words, but saying them out loud could help save a life.” he says.

If you know someone who may be considering suicide, or if you yourself just need somebody to talk to, visit or call 1-866-488-7386.
