Marc Jacobs Shows Off as New Creative Director for Diet Coke

It was announced today that Marc Jacobs has signed on to be the brand-new creative director for Diet Coke in 2013. Don’t expect the openly gay, skirt-wearing designer to headline commercial spots in the United States, that’s reserved for lucky European boob tube viewers. In addition to some shirtless ads, he’ll also design three cans and three bottles. Jacobs told WWD of his shirtless photo shoot “I still think it’s hysterical people want me to take my shirt off…I’m going to be 50 in two months, so I guess I should be glad.”
