Marriott Launches Pride Campaign Encouraging the Artisitic Expression of Love for Transgender Lives

Marriott Rewards is building on the success of the wider campaign #LoveTravels by launching a creative movement to amplify the entire LGBT community through an installation that encourages everyone to see themselves and to be themselves. Marriott invites travelers to create and share one’s expression of love. This can be defined as anything from paintings, photographs, and collage to hand-written letters.

Using the hashtags #lovetravels and #mypride (on Twitter and Instagram), these creative works will become art of Marriott’s collaborative art installation that will be unveiled before Capital Pride next month in Washington, D.C.

All you have to do is submit your work by May 25, 2016.

Besides visually showing the entire world how much love is in each and everyone of our hearts, Marriott will also make a donation to Casa Ruby, the only bilingual multicultural LGBT organization providing lifesaving services to many of the most vulnerable transgender residents of Washington, D.C. The funds will help support Casa Ruby’s Drop-In and Crisis Intervention Center, as well as their Limited Financial Assistance program for those enrolled in career and employment services and to those facing extreme financial hardship.
