On July 10, the Principality of Monaco unveiled its first LGBT travel brochure solidifying its commitment to the community after joining the International Gay and Lesbian Travel Association two years ago.
“We are thrilled to have a piece of collateral that speaks to this very active group of travelers who connect with the offerings the Principality is known for,” said Cindy Hoddeson, director North America of the Monaco Government Tourist Office. “In addition to its reputation of fairytale romance, luxurious hotels, epicurean delights, and full calendar of cultural activities, it is important to note that Monaco is a cosmopolitan nation with representation from 139 nationalities that help make the country culturally diverse and welcoming.”
The brochure boasts gay-friendly locations including four- and five-star hotels, Michelin Star–rated hotels, world-famous spas, and historical tidbits that give you a sense of the country’s inclusiveness. Deemed one of the safest places in Europe, Monaco is poised to be a hot LGBT vacation locale.
