Mr. Gay Europe 2017 has been crowned, and this year’s crown went to England’s Matt Rood. The 37-year-old trainer and dog walker (aw) was crowned this weekend at the end of Stockholm Pride.
The competition was stiff and featured a variety of challenges including sports, photo, social media, an interview, and even a written part. Matt wishes to use the title to champion the cause for same-sex adoption and fostering.
“As a former foster carer and an out and proud gay man I have knowledge and experience of this subject and would like to encourage a positive attitude globally,” he said in a statement.
The runner up was Mr. Gay Ireland Stephen Lahane.
