Often voted some of the worst airports in the world, John F. Kennedy International, Newark Liberty International, and La Guardia airports in New York’s Tri-State area have unveiled one major improvement that will definitely make up for some of their shortcomings. The three major gateways have introduced free Wi-Fi. Not only will it be free, but it will also be super-fast and unlimited, according to the Port Authority. The high-speed Net will allow travelers to stream media and hold video conferences.
New York’s major airports are finally offering unlimited free Wi-Fi.
“Fast and free Wi-Fi is a fundamental functionality that has become a bedrock expectation of our customers, and…our airports have been slow in responding to meet this customer experience expectation,” said Port Executive Director Rick Cotton. “This week’s announcement symbolizes the agency’s commitment to change to improve greatly the customer experience at our airports and all of our facilities.” [AMNY]
