The birthplace of the modern-day gay rights movement, New York City, has been chosen to hose WorldPride in 2019. WorldPride, which began in 2000 by Paul Stenson of InterPride, will coincide with Stonewall 50, the 50th anniversary of the riots on Christopher Street that ultimately lead to the first pride rally the following year. The two-month celebration will have a theme of “Millions of Moments of Pride.”

WorldPride has taken place in Rome, London, Madrid, Toronto, and, in 2017, Madrid.

We were fortunate enough to be in London and Toronto for WorldPride.
