NFL Linebacker Scott Fujita Joins Americans for Marriage Equality Campaign

NFL linebacker Scott Fujita has been a longstanding ally for LGBT rights ever since the National Equality March way back in 2009 when he said “To me, the right to marry is a right that all men should have…To me, it’s more a human issue than just a gay/straight/political issue.’’ He didn’t back down on his position and even vocalized his support for the LGBT-rights movement prior to the Super Bowl in February 2010. His commitment to the community hasn’t gone unnoticed. He has received numerous ally awards including PFLAG’s first ever Straight for Equality in Sports Award. Now, the NFL Saint player is making sure that his message is being hear by even more by joining the HRC’s Americans for Marriage Equality campaign. Check out his video after the jump…
