The New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival lineup is having another breakout year! Stars representing nearly every known genre of popular music, like Elton John and Ed Sheeran, will be coming out for the two-weekend, seven-day festival at the historic Fair Grounds Race Course this spring. Genres include gospel, blues, zydeco, R&B, and good-old Rock ‘n’ Roll. This year’s JazzFest at the Congo Square, Louisiana Marketplace, and the Contemporary Crafts area. Bring your appetite too! The Food Fair has classic New Orleans staples, which over time have expanded to include Creole and Cajun offerings as well as international cuisine. In addition to the dozens of fine foods offered (more is never enough), there are two cooking stages at the Fair Grounds Grandstand demonstrating the rich culinary history of New Orleans and offering signature dishes. This year, the festival takes place from April 24-May 3.
