Nyle DiMarco Becomes First Queer Contestant to Dance with Same-Sex Partner on ‘Dancing with the Stars’

Same-sex dance partners have been a controversial subject for the hit show Dancing with the Stars since it’s inception, and the controversy reached an apex last year when e-mails were leaked showing ABC execs saying that it was a “definite no.” But it seems times are changing as America’s Next Top Model–winner Nyle DiMarco danced with Peta Murgatroyd, Jodi Sweetin, and Keo Motsepe. During the Team-Up Challenge dance, Keo and DiMarco, sans shirts, danced the Tango.
