“Visit Austin is a proud ally to the transgender and non-binary community,” Visit Austin said in a statement. “Our city is committed to making everyone feel welcome during their visit, and our restrooms are no exception. We’ll say it: we’re pretty proud of our restrooms around town. Not just because they are some of the coolest and most eclectic in the country, but because they are open to all,” they added.
The city itself is known for its welcoming attitude, and it will show its support with this new initiative, OpenATX.
